The first manual while the one that is now selling hard is an automatic transmission or what is often called Matic. Which is better? It’s the same, just depending on your taste. Each transmission has its advantages and disadvantages, including how to care for it to work optimally.


Manual transmission is used first because of the uncomplicated way it works. Manual transmission is considered more reliable because it can deliver power faster. For example, components in the gearbox of the car engine or the transmission. Because it rubs frequently, grams or powder leftover friction will nest until it risks interfering with its performance.


Therefore, for the performance to increase again, lubricant replacement is usually done according to the interval time of the change. For information, regular lubricant replacement is less than optimal because there are still grams in the gearbox that are not wasted. The automatic transmission utilizes oil pressure and a Torque Converter to drive the gearshift. Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) has the task of lubricating all moving components, both inside the torque converter and the transmission house. In addition, the ATF must also channel high-pressure hydrolytic power to operate the clutch to channel engine power and perform a gearshift.

There are several types of ATF in Toyota cars by the technology applied. Ranging from Dexron II to IV, T-IV, WS, and CVT have different specifications related to fluid viscosity and other performance such as the ability to absorb heat and protect components from friction forces. The use of the wrong ATF will affect the performance of the dead transmission.
